Fly Fishing Schools/Fly Tying Classes
River Run offers a variety of classes geared at teaching you the “fine art” of fly fishing. From tying flies to actually getting them wet, there’s something to learn here for everyone. Two-day fly fishing schools are being scheduled as requested. Call and check on our two-people special rate. Classes include 1/2 day classroom learning about equipment, knots, aquatic entomology, water reading, stream etiquette, plus tips on continuing your learning process. The afternoon is at the water learning basic casts. Second day is on the water refining your casting, learning various presentation techniques and catching fish. All equipment is furnished. We have an excellent selection at our store if you prefer to purchase your equipment. Classes run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Contact us for cost and lodging recommendations. If this program does not meet your needs, we can tailor a program which will. Just ask.
