License requirements for trout fishing on Taneycomo -

State Residents:

• An annual trout permit is required to possess trout anywhere on the lake, and is required of all anglers above the Highway 65 Bridge - $7.00
• Anyone less than 16 or less than 65 years old must also have either a daily license - $7.00 or annual license - $12.00     

Out of State:

• An annual trout permit is required to possess trout anywhere on the lake, and is required of all anglers above the Highway 65 Bridge - $7.00
• Anyone 16 years or older must have either a daily license $7.00 or an annual license - $40.00

Both the trout permit and the annual license are issued for the period February 28, (issuing year) to February 28, (of the next year)

Daily license can be issued by the day or for any number of days.
