Recipe: 

            Hook – TMC 2457, size 18 (or equivalent)           

Thread (body) – 14/0 Gordon Griffith Primrose Thread

            Head – 2.0 mm copper tungsten bead

            Over body – Small Pearl Flashabou (spiral with slight space between)

Ribbing - Ultra Wire, small, copper

 

Copper Dun

Recipe:

            Hook – TMC 2457, size 18 (or equivalent)

            Thread (body) – 8/0 Uni-Thread, Rusty Dun

            Head – 2.0 mm copper tungsten bead

            Ribbing – Ultra Wire, small, copper

 

Rusty Midge

Recipe:

            Hook – TMC 2457, size 18 (or equivalent)

            Thread (body) – 8/0 Uni-Thread, Rust Brown

            Head – 2.0 mm black tungsten bead

            Ribbing – Ultra Wire, small, black

 

Burgundy Midge

Recipe:

            Hook – TMC 2457, size 18 (or equivalent)

            Thread – 8/0 Uni-Thread, Wine

            Head – 2.0 mm silver tungsten bead         

Body – Holoshimmer, Burgundy

            Ribbing – Ultra Wire, small, silver

 

Tunghead Red Midge (especially good in high water)

Recipe:

            Hook – TMC 2457, size 16 (or equivalent)

            Thread – 8/0 or 14/0 red

            Head – 2.3 mm silver or nickel tungsten bead

            Body – Hareline Small D-Rib, blood red
