Ketchup Time!

Looks like we are in for a stretch of warm weather.  Upper 80s and low 90s are predicted.  Slight chances of rain show up Friday and run through Monday.  (of course, over the weekend!)

We continue to see no generation during the morning hours.  Water coming on around 2:00 p.m. five or six hours then back off again.

Carolyn on the water last Monday with Bill and Mike.  Fun day with these guys catching on the ruby 2 midge, cerise San Juan worm and the holographic green crackleback.

Kyle – 6/13/23

Dana had Kyle and Scott from Oklahoma on the water Tuesday.  Good day for them on the ruby 2 and P&P midges.

Thursday, Carolyn had Marilyn and Ken out for half a day.  Good day on gray scuds, apricot egg pattern, ruby 2 and a San Juan worm.

Gary and his friend Jimmy fished with Carolyn on Saturday.  Probably the best pattern that day was the holographic green crackleback.  This was Jimmy’s first time with a fly rod and he caught both nymphing and pulling a streamer.

Sunday, Ron and Debbie fished with Carolyn.  They were catching on the gray scud and cerise San Juan worm.  Slow start to the day, but it finally picked up and we were catching fish!  The grand finale was a rain storm that came in just about the end of the trip!

Darren had John and Patty out on Monday.  Fun day catching for them on the sow bug scud combo and a midge larvae. Jim’s trip with Jerry was catching on a bull head streamer and very small midge.
