More Nice Fish!

Can you believe it was 64 degrees this morning when we woke up?  Not 4th of July weather at all.  Mid to upper 80s today and tomorrow.  Low 90s Tuesday with upper 80s again Wednesday and Thursday.  Bad news is that there are chances of rain Wednesday through Saturday.

No change in generation.  At least two units every day and sometimes they bump it up to three in the afternoon for three or four hours.

Dana on the water last Wednesday with Cathy from Nebraska.  Good day for Cathy on the cerise San Juan worm, mega worm or ruby 2 midge.

Friday, Jim and Carolyn took out a family from Oklahoma.  The family was completely new to fly fishing but thought it sounded like a fun thing to do.  Jim had Mike and his son and they were catching on the ruby

lots of learning, tangling and catching for these gals on the cerise San Juan worm under the big ruby.  Riff from Texas spent half a day on the water with Dana.  They were

catching on a hare’s ear, eggstacy egg pattern and the mega worm.

Saturday, Carolyn took Rod and his son, Leland out.  This was Leland’s first time fly fishing and he did well.  Best technique for them was pulling streamers.  Caught half of the fish on JQ

streamer and the other half on the trailer, a holographic green crackleback.  Jim had one of his long-time clients, Scott, on the water.  They did their best on the ruby 2 under the ruby.
