We have had much needed rain.  However, we have received too much at one time.  Nice day today but there is a slight chance for some rain this afternoon.  Tomorrow looks like a nice day with the high at 90 degrees.  Chances for rain again on Thursday.  Through the weekend it will be in the 80s with chances for rain both Saturday (slight) and Sunday (60%).  80s through next week.

With all the rain, they opened the gates yesterday with three generators going.  Tomorrow is projected to have four generators going and we will probably see some gates open.  We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Landon on the water Thursday with Ricky and Kathy.  Good day for them on the big Ruby with a #16 black copperhead midge.

Dana and Jim took out a party of three Saturday.  Jim had Nick & Joe.  New fly fishers and high water.  Caught a few on the Hot Hare’s Ear nymph.  Dana guy, Greg, caught on the black copperhead and stripping an olive wooly bugger.

Tony from Illinois spent half a day with Dana today.  Tough day with the gates and generators open to the level they were.  Had some hits and landed fish on the olive wooly bugger.
