Looks like we will cool down Thursday into the upper 80s.  After that, low 90s appear to be the trend.  Let’s hope so.  This 100 degree weather is taking it toll.

They continue turn the generators off at night around 10P:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. the next morning.  Then they run a low one unit until noon or 1:00 p.m. when they ramp it up to two units and eventually four.  Not certain why they are running it this way, but it does help the dissolved oxygen.  When they are not generating any water the dissolved oxygen is very low.  As soon as they turn something on and are probably injection liquid oxygen, it ramps up into the 4 or 5 ppm.  Not perfect, but better for the fishery.

Dana on the water Saturday with Gary and his granddaughter, Aubrey.  Fished the black copperhead midge.  Tom and his grandson, Cole attended the Orvis 2-day school September 3 & 4.  Saturday, they tried out their new skills and fished with Landon.  They caught fish on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midge.  Think they graduated!!!

Brian – 9/6/26

Sunday, Brian fished Landon.  Good day for them on everything.  Started out with the Ruby 2 midge and caught some.  Saw some fish rising, so on goes a dry fly and caught on that.  When that stopped, it was the holographic green crackleback.  Dana has two new fly fishers, Grayson and Bailey.  They were catching on the…….you got it,  Ruby 2 midge.
