Really Good Days On The Water
Yes, we continue to see hot days. Upper 90s every days this week. Looks like we might see a cool down next week. Mid 80s is what we are seeing right now. Hope it stays that way.
No generation has been the plan for the past five days. One or two generators turned on around 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Lots of morning time to wade with no generation.
Really good days on the water for at least the past four day. Jim out yesterday with Tom and his friend from Arizona. Caught and missed fish on a #14 Sculpin and #14 tan wooly bugger. Landon had one of his regulars, Steve, on the water. They had a fabulous day on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midges, or the cream mob fly.
Today, Carolyn took Larry out for half a day. Once the fog lifted, it was fish on. Ruby 2 midge and when the chop picked up on the water, it was the cream mop fly. Like Landon said about his day out, it wasn’t fishing, it was catchin!
