Nice Rainbows Caught!
Weather looks pretty good. Slight chances for rain Thursday, but otherwise, temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Generation has been a little spastic. Rain a partial one unit today until around 3:00 p.m. when they turned it up to three units. Running some water tomorrow. Low two units are supposed to come on at 8:00 a.m. Until then it will be off until 6:00 a.m. when one unit will come on for a couple hours

Wyatt – 7/28/26
Fly fishing on Taneycomo has been pretty good. Landon on the water Tuesday with Wyatt and Jason from Kansas. Good day on the Ruby 2 and Black copperhead midges. Mainly fished the upper area as they were not generating a lot water. Fairly new fly fishers and they had a fun day!

Thursday, Landon took Doug from Maryland out for half a day. Good day for them on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midges. They were also catching a few fish on the yellow hopper pattern! Fun city! Smallest fish was 15 inches. Everything else was bigger!!

Dana was on the water Friday with Ross and Colby. It was the black copperhead or Ruby 2 midges for them!
Jim had one of his long-time regulars, Scotty, on the water Saturday. He brought along one of his friends, Steve, who is a brand new fly fisher so Jim worked with him on all the necessary techniques. It was either a sculpin pattern black copperhead midge for them.
One last women’s fly fishing clinic scheduled for September 5, 2026. Ladies, let’s get out there and learn how to fly fish!!!!
