Little Extra Water Last Week!

Expecting some heavy rain today.  Looks like more rain tomorrow morning.  After that, it will be dry for a couple days and then chances for rain show up Thursday into the weekend.  Temperatures in the 80s.

Gave us some extra water a couple days last week.  Actually bumped it up to three units.  Today is is a low one unit most of the days.  Two units for three hours last this afternoon.  Monday looks like more of the same, low one unit until 3:00 them low three units for four hours then back to a low one unit.

Jim on the water last Thursday with James.  New to trout fly fishing.  Caught a few fish on the ruby midge and a Hot Hare’s ear nymph.  Carolyn had Dean from Kansas on the water.  They worked hard and landed some fish, mainly on the black copperhead midge.  Did the full run as this was one of those days where they bumped the flow up to three units.

Saturday was back to the low one unit and Darren and Landon had a group out from Texas.  Landon took Leo.  They had a good day on the copper dun, black copperhead and Ruby 2 midges.  Darren fished Johnathan and Justin.  Good day for them too on the black copperhead midge.
