The Bite Was Certainly On!

Got some rain yesterday afternoon around 2:00 p.m.  The guys who were on the water might say we got “a lot of rain”.  It did dump for a little while.  Beautiful, sunny day today.  Chances for an isolated afternoon storm possible.  Still forecasting 80s through all of next week and into the weekend with chances of showers scattered throughout the entire time.

One low unit running today, as projected.  No generation Monday except for one unit late in the day.  Tuesday’s projection is no generation until 2:00 p.m. when one unit will come on for a couple hours, then two units for a couple hours.

The bite was certainly on yesterday.  Jim had Aaron and his son Will out for half a day.  Great day for these buys on the CQ streamer, Copper dun and blood worm dropper.  Mike from Iowa spent half a day with Stan.  It was the copperhead black zebra in the early morning switching to the copper dun as it brightened up and fish on all day.  They only lost one fly and that one was in a nice fish that kept going south.
