Catch Up Time!

Looks like our weather will be in the mid to upper 80s well into next week, when we might see a drop into the 70s on Wednesday.  Then, very slight chances for rain.  Hope this increases by them.  We really need some rain!!!

Generators are off every morning until 1:00 or 2:00 p.m.  Over the weekend, they were off until 6:00 p.m.

Carolyn took Tim and Rebecca out for a two-hour instruction trip last Thursday.  Fun couple of hours.  Worked on casting just a little, presentation and finally what and how to set it up.  Tim was catching on the Ruby 2 under the black copperhead midge and Rebecca was catching on the cream mop fly.  They stayed on after the two hours and fished on their own.

Saturday, Dana took Larry out for half a day.  Tough day.  Had a few hits on the orange egg pattern.

Dana and Landon took a family out Tuesday for a wade trip.  This was their first experience at fly fishing and they wanted to give it a try.  Landon had Ethan, Dalton and Mason.  They caught a few on the mop fly and egg pattern.  Dana had Bill, Britany, and Cole.  No best fly for them.   Jim had a couple of his regulars, Dwan and Robert.  Their pattern for the day was a size 14 bugger.

Wednesday, Dana was out with Galen and David.   Olive wooly bugger was the ticket.  Rick from Georgia fished with Landon.  Size 22 midge and the mop fly.
