Cross your fingers that we get some rain.  Low 90s today and probably tomorrow.  Thursday they are forecasting rain possibly starting in the afternoon and running through Friday and into Saturday morning.  We will take anything we can get!

They continue to have the generators off until around 2:00 p.m. every day.  Starting up one, two or a low three units for five to six hours and then off again.  We are over six feet below normal power pool in Table Rock Lake right now.

Jim on the water last Thursday with Jim and Clark from Illinois.  It was one of those days when they messed with the river.  Water was off then they hit the river.  Then, around 10:30 a.m. they turned on one unit for about an hour.  Left it off for a while and then turned on two units.  Water dirtied up and the fish went south!  Caught a few fish but not enough to determine what they were biting on.

Friday Landon took Jan and Sonia out for half a day.  Completely different water this day.  Very good day on the hopper, thread midge, scud and the cream mop fly.  Hopper was best until they turned on a low one unit.  Then it was the mop fly.

Jan and Sonia fished Monday with Dana.  Good day for them again.  This time it was an orange egg pattern and the black copperhead midge.

Tuesday, John, Christopher, and Michael took a half-day wade trip with Landon.  All are fairly new fly fishers, but they caught on quickly and landed a good number of fish on the holographic green crackleback, size 12 olive wooly bugger and the thread midge.  Good time was had by all!
