Beautiful Weather And Great Fishing!
Can’t believe it is not Spring yet. White flowing trees everywhere and you can see the red buds starting to bud. Temperatures in the upper 60s to upper 70s over the part two weeks! We will dip to the 40s Monday, but it will probably head right back up.
With the great weather we have had good generation schedules for the wade fishers. Over the past several days, water has been off almost all day. Turning it on for a couple hours in the early morning hours or late afternoon hours.
And, with all this nice weather and low water flow, fishing has been very good most every day. Some days, it will fish good for several hours, shut down for a while, and then pick back up again in an hour or so. Keep trying.

Kristen – 3/5/26
Dana on the water last Thursday with John and his daughter Kristen. Good day for them on the red San Juan worm under the big Ruby. This was Kristen’s first time with a fly rod and she made her father happy catching several nice fish. First trip but it certainly will not be her last! She loved it!
