More Nice Weather This Week!

Not bad today.  40s but little wind!  Monday through Thursday, we will see temperatures in the 60’s.  Is it really January?  Possibility of some rain late Wednesday night into Thursday.  By the weekend, temperatures will drop to the upper 40s or low 50s but dry.

Finally!  They turned the generators off this weekend!  Looks like they are going to be off most of the day tomorrow.  It’s about time.

Dana on the water Christmas eve day with Angela and Jeremy from Texas.  Funky generation that day and fishing was tough.  They caught a few fish on a red San Juan Worm.

Jessie – 12/30/25

Last Tuesday, Landon has Jessie and Robert out for half a day.  Good day for them on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midges.  Also the mop fly.

Robert – 12/30/25

Dan and Doris from Texas brought several of their family members up to fish.

Anna – 12/30/25

Carolyn had Doris and Anna.  Good day for them on the Ruby 2 midge.  This was Anna’s second time with a fly rod and she did great!

Doris – 12/30/25

Dana took Dan and Corbin and they were catching on the Ruby 2 and black copperhead midges.  Roger and Matt were in the boat with Darren and they were fishing the rusty midge and black copperhead.  Fun day for everyone!!

Wednesday, Carolyn took Dean from Kansas out.  This is Dean’s fifth year to fish with us on New Year’s eve day.  Tough year this year.  Tried everything and couldn’t find the magic bug.

Everyone who came into the shop over the weekend with the water off, was having a great day on the water!  Catching on almost everything, but especially scuds and midges.
