Lots Of Rain Today!

We are experiencing periods of heavy rain today and it is projected to continue throughout the day.  More rain forecast for tomorrow morning then it looks like we will have clear days in the 70s.

No change in the generation pattern.  Off during the morning hours.  Comes on anywhere from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the after noon for five to six hours and back for the evening and into the next morning.

Carolyn on the water last Friday with Philip, Ashly and Joe.  Not a bad day and not a great day.  Caught fish mainly on the Ruby 2 midge.  Had Ashly try a red soft hackle and she caught a few on that.

Jim from Kansas, fished with Dana Saturday.  He had earlier attended a fly-fishing school at our shop and wanted to work on places and techniques.  Had a good day covering these areas and landed some fish on the JQ streamer.

Gary – 9/21/25

Sunday, Gary and Carolyn took Gary, Zach and Levi (Gary’s grandson) out for a half day wade.  What a day!  We had several doubles where two of them had fish on as the same time.  But it should have been.  It was Gary’s birthday.   HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARY!

Levi – 9/21/25

He caught the most and largest fish of the day.  Best pattern was the black copperhead midge.   Also caught some

Zach – 9/25/21

on the Ruby 2 midge.
