Couple Of Tough Days!

Got some much needed rain yesterday.  Cooler today with the high projected at 63.  Many more sunny days ahead in the 60s and 70s.  Right now, the forecast shows chances of rain Friday and Saturday this week.

No change in generation.  Off during the morning hours and back on with one unit around 2:00 p.m.  On for five to six hours and back off.

Tough couple of days on the water.  Dana out last Thursday with Chuck from Minnesota.  They worked hard for fish.  Caught a few on a Ruby 2 midge.  Carolyn had Dan and Tammy out for a half day wade trip.  They caught a few on the miracle scud, Ruby 2 and black midges.

Friday, Jeanne and Tia fished with Carolyn.  A few more fish, but not good.  Miracle scud, olive wooly bugger, olive bug-eyed bugger and JQ streamer.  Jim’s guys, Dwan and Robert caught a few stripping a small JQ streamer.  As Jim said “terrible oxygen levels!”

Please remember, with the fish this stressed from the low oxygen levels, keep them in the water as much as possible.  If you want a picture, keep them in the water until you have you camera and everything else ready.  Wet your hands before you touch them.  Don’t fight them until you wear them out.
