Lots Of Low Water!
We had a few days of wonderful weather. Temperatures in the 80s but sunny. Looks like we are returning to the normal for this time of the year. Back into the 90s. However, staying in the low to mid 90s which will be a little better. At this time there are very slight chances for rain (30%) starting next Monday and running through the week. Doubt that we will see much, if any.
They continue to have the water off during the morning hours. Today it did not come on until 2:00 p.m. and then only one unit for a brief period. Two units are supposed to come on at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday it will be off almost all day. A low one unit at 3:00 p.m. for three hours then off.
Carolyn on the water last Friday with Hayli from Texas. She is getting ready for a trip to Colorado and needed to brush up on casting and catching. Very good day for catching on the black copperhead midge. Got the casting down and working on hook sets.

Matt – 8/2/25
Matt and Jim from Oklahoma fished with Landon Saturday. Good day for them on the big black midge, a ruby 2 and the crackleback trailing the golden variant sculpin. Water came on during their trip for they pulled streamers in

Monday, Jim and Dana took a group from Texas out. Jim had Rodrigo and Jim and Dana had Greg and Travis. Jim’s guys were catching on a small sculpin pattern. Fun day for them. Dana’s guys were throwing an olive wooly bugger.
