Another Hot Day On The Water!

Latest on lake levels.  At 8:00 a.m. today, Beaver was 1129.16 feet, Bull Shoals at 693.24 and Table Rock is 928.6.  Beaver actually had their generators shut down, which they have done the past few days in the morning.  If they follow the same pattern, it will come on early afternoon if not before.  Bull Shoals is generating water.  They are running around 13000 cfs through the generators which put their tailwater level around 459 this morning.  At least at 8:00 a.m. today, no flood gates, but running four generators around 10000 cfs.  Tailwater level is 708 plus.

Forecasting some strong thundershowers later today, with chances of showers into the night and possibly lingering into the morning hours on Friday.  Saturday and Sunday will see the affect of the cold front coming through so temperatures will drop into the low 60s with partly cloudy skies.  Monday, mid 60s and party cloudy with Tuesday and Wednesday warming up a little into the high 60 or low 70, and partly sunny.

Hot day on the water yesterday in both temperature and fishing.  Jim took Jim from Festus, MO out for half a day.  Fat, fat, 18 inch rainbow among the many fish Jim boated on the red midge, red San Juan and olive sculpin.  Stan had Dennis and Don, both from Indiana, out again.  Eighteen inchers in their boat too, along with enough fish, Dennis had to take a break and rest for a while.   Their flies were the red midge, holographic green and silver bullet crackleback and primrose & pearl midge.
